In dem heutigen Beitrag zeigen wir Euch Bilder, die Ihr zwar schon kennt, die wir aber ganz besonders lieben und diese wollen wir mit Euch noch einmal teilen. Es geht um Dinge, die für uns etwas ganz Besonderes sind oder aber auch um einfach schöne Fotos. Wir fotografieren im Jahr unzählige Bilder und können Euch davon immer nur wenige zeigen.
In today’s post we’d like to show you some pictures you might already know, but we love them so much that we want to share them with you one more time! They’re about things that are special to us or some of them are simply pretty. We shoot so many pictures every year and we only get to show you so many.
Pro Beitrag machen wir im Durchschnitt an die 100 Fotos, davon werden dann ca. 10-12 für den Beitrag verwendet, Ihr könnt euch sicher vorstellen, was da in einem Jahr so an Fotomaterial zusammenkommt! Von der vielen Arbeit spreche ich noch gar nicht, die wir dann mit der Bearbeitung oder Auswahl der Bilder haben. Oft sitzen wir stundenlang und auch bis spät in die Nacht und bereiten nur Fotos für einen Beitrag vor, aber auch viele Wochenenden werden dafür geopfert.
For every post we publish we take about 100 pictures, of which we choose the 10-12 best for the post, as you can imagine, that means over time we’ve racked up quite the photographic archive! I’m not even talking about all the work that goes into shooting or choosing the best. Often we just spend hours on end, mostly late at night, preparing pictures for a post, sometimes even on weekends.
Ni übernimmt meistens die Vorauswahl der Fotos und Al bearbeitet dann oft stundenlang unsere Bilder.
Oft fällt uns die Auswahl schon sehr schwer, welche Fotos wir denn überhaupt für einen Beitrag verwenden. Das artet dann auch manchmal in einem kleinen Streit aus, aber meist funktioniert es doch ganz gut und wir sind einer Meinung.
Al ist da immer sehr genau und wenn ein Foto nur irgendwie einen kleinen Fehler hat, wird es sofort entfernt. Sie ist da wirklich sehr pingelig. In der Zwischenzeit legen wir beide sehr viel Wert auf gutes Fotomaterial und arbeiten immer noch daran, das perfekte Foto zu liefern.
Viel konnten wir schon in einigen Fotoworkshops lernen, aber perfekt sind wir noch immer nicht!

Ni usually chooses which pictures make it into the post and Al does all the hour-long editing.
Often it’s really hard to just decide what photographs to use for a certain post. Sometimes we fight about it a little bit, but most of the time it works out just fine and we agree about the choice of pictures.
Al tends to be really precise and even the slightest flaw will make her reject a picture. She really is quite finical. By now though we both attach great value to amazing photographs and are constantly working on ourselves to give you the most perfect material possible.
We have learned a lot in a few photography workshops, but we are still not perfect.

Al’s derzeitiges Lieblingsshirt von Kohlori – sie trägt es fast ununterbrochen und ist in das anschmiegsame Material, das so angenehm zu tragen ist, total verliebt.

Ni geht es da so mit ihrer neuen Sonnenbrille von Promod. Sie war so begeistert, dass sie sie sofort kaufen musste.
And Ni has her new sunglasses by Promod that she just cannot go without. She was so amazed that she just had to have a pair.
Die Coccinelle – auch die musste sie unbedingt haben – gefällt ihr so gut, aber getragen hat sie sie bisher noch kein einziges Mal. Das liegt wohl an der großen Taschenauswahl in Ni’s Schrank.
The Coccinelle – she had to have that too – was another thing she loved right away, she’s yet to wear it for the first time though. That might be because of the huge bag selection in Ni’s closet.
Schnelle Kuchen sind Ni’s Spezialität, so wie dieser französische Apfelkuchen mit Vanilleüberzug.
Ni loves quick cakes, just like this vanilla coated, French apple cake.
Diese Mailänder trägt Ni fast ununterbrochen – ganz große Liebe.
Those Milanese shoes are Ni’s big love – she wears them all the time.
Reisen ist für Al und Ni etwas Großartiges. Wie Ihr ja wisst, waren wir im Jänner für zwei Wochen in der Karibik, traumhaft schöne Strände und glasklares Wasser, einfach traumhaft!
Both Al and Ni love to travel. As you know, we went on a cruise through the Caribbean in January for two weeks, magnificent beaches and crystal clear water, simply amazing!
Ni liebt den Marinelook über alles, diese Aufnahmen haben wir in Tulln an der Donau gemacht.

Die Butterfly Twists sind Ni’s Reisebegleiter. Die faltbaren Ballerinas haben Platz im kleinsten Koffer, eine wunderbare Idee, denn speziell auf kurzen Reisen, wenn man mit Handgepäck fliegt, sind sie wirklich sehr praktisch.
The butterfly Twists are a constant companion on Ni’s travels. The foldable ballerinas fit into the smallest suitcase, a great idea, especially on shorter trips when you only travel with hand luggage.
Das Midi in Wien, ein hübsches kleines Bistro mitten im Herzen von Wien. Am Hohen Markt findet man das süße französische Deli.

Al trägt ihren liebsten Parka im Winter wirklich ununterbrochen. Er sieht nicht nur toll aus, er ist auch super warm und sehr kuschelig.
Al loves to wear her favourite Parka when it’s cold. Not only does it look good, it’s also cosy and warm.
St. Thomas in der Karibik, dazu braucht es keine weiteren Worte.

Dieser Hut und Ni – obwohl er ihr ganz hervorragend steht, trägt sie ihn leider viel zu selten.

Diese hübschen Aufnahmen entstanden bei unserem Florida Aufenthalt, für uns sind sie etwas ganz Besonderes. Wir verbrachten ein paar wunderschöne Tage in Fort Lauderdale.
We took these lovely photographs during our time in Florida, they are quite special to us. We spent a few great days in Fort Lauderdale.
