Ich gestehe, ich bin schon wieder schwach geworden. Bei Schuhen und Taschen bin ich haltlos. Wenn ich mich in ein Paar Schuhe verliebe, ist es um mich geschehen, ich muss sie einfach haben und das sofort. So ist es mir auch mit diesem flachen Lederschuh ergangen, sofort wollte ich sie mir bestellen. Leider waren die Schuhe aber in kurzer Zeit komplett ausverkauft und ich kam auf eine Warteliste, mir war zum Heulen.
I must confess, I had another weak moment. You just can’t stop me when it comes to shoes and bags. When I fall in love with a pair of shoes there’s nothing I can do about it, I just have to have them, right now. That’s what happened with these flat leather shoes, I wanted to order them right away. Unfortunately they were sold out after a short time and I was put on a waiting list, what a shame!
Nach zwei Wochen Wartezeit dachte ich mir, ok damit musst du leben, sie sind ausverkauft. Aber wer mich kennt, der weiß, so schnell gebe ich nicht auf und siehe da, ich habe sie in Hamburg – es war das letzte Paar in meiner Größe – gefunden.
After two weeks of waiting I thought, well they’re sold out, you just have to live with that. But if you know me, you know that I don’t give up easily and what do you know, I found them in Hamburg – and it was the last pair in my size.
Weihnachten und Geburtstag zusammen, ich war glücklich, denn endlich habe ich meine Bordeauxroten Schuhe bekommen. Da nahm ich es sogar in Kauf, fast eine halbe Stunde an der Kasse anzustehen, es war Sale und ganz Hamburg bei Zara einkaufen.
Christmas and Birthday in a single day, I was so happy because I finally had these Bordeaux-red shoes in my hands. I didn’t even mind waiting in line at checkout for half an hour, it was Sale at Zara and pretty much everybody from Hamburg was there.
Der Schuh ist komplett aus Leder und dank des Elastikeinsatzes super bequem. Ich musste sie mir eine Nummer größer kaufen, ich trage normal 40, bei Zara oder Mango brauche ich meistens eine 41! Doppeltes Glück, da diese Größe leider immer sehr schnell ausverkauft ist.
The shoe is made completely out of leather and thanks to the elastic inlays they are really comfortable. I had to buy them one size larger, I normally wear 40s, at Zara or Mango at least 41s! That’s usually the first size to be sold out.
Ich wollte diese Schuhe unbedingt haben, da sie ein besonderer Eyecatcher sind und ich kein einziges Paar in dieser Farbe besitze. Das sehr intensive Rot hat es mir sofort angetan. Mein Mister hat zwar die Nase gerümpft und gemeint: Die sehen seltsam aus. Aber gerade der Schnitt mit dem auffälligen Schleifendetail machen das Modell zu etwas ganz Besonderem!
Ein richtiger Hingucker sind sie zu einer weißen Hose oder einer Flared Jeans, das bringt den spitz zulaufenden Schuh erst richtig zur Geltung.

I really wanted these shoes because they are a total eye-catcher and I don’t have a single pair in this particular colour. The very intense red had me excited right away. My Mister however was not quite as excited, he said, “They look strange”. But it’s just that cut with the striking bow-detail that makes these something very special.
They are even more amazing if you wear them to a white pair of trousers or flared jeans, that’s what really makes this pointy shoe pop.
