Für dieses Shooting wollten wir eigentlich zu einem See ganz in unserer Nähe fahren, um schöne Bilder für Euch zu fotografieren. Wie immer hat uns das Wetter einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht und wir mussten leider kurzfristig umdisponieren. Als Location wählten wir dann einen alten Bahnhof, nicht weit weg von zu Hause. Wir haben hier schon viele Fotos gemacht, nur leider hatten wir dieses Mal Pech und ein Großteil der Haltestelle war wegen Umbauarbeiten gesperrt. Es war einfach nicht unser Tag und außerdem begann es zu regnen. Wir haben aber dann doch das Beste daraus gemacht und ich hoffe, dass Euch die Fotos trotz der widrigen Umstände gefallen.
For this shooting we had planned to go to a lake near where we live to take nice pictures for you. As always, the weather had different plans for us and so we had to come up with something else. We went for a railroad station close to home. We’ve taken many photos here before, unfortunately much of it was closed this time due to construction. It just was not our day and soon after we had started it began to rain. We made the best of it though and we hope you like the images non the less.
Meinen Trenchcoat, den ich mir im vergangenen Jahr bei & Other Stories in Mailand gekauft habe, habe ich Euch ja schon in dem Outfit-Post White navy meets grey trench vorgestellt. Auch in diesem Frühling griff ich wieder zu meinem Lieblingsmantel. Was mir an dem Mantel besonders gut gefällt, ist der schöne Stoff und der etwas ausgefallene Schnitt. Wir kennen ja alle den klassischen Trench und auch ich besitze einen guten alten Burberry, ich liebe ihn heiß und innig. Trotzdem war ich immer schon auf der Suche nach einem etwas unüblichen Trenchcoat. Gefunden habe ich ihn dann in Italien.
I already showed you my trench coat which I had bought a year ago at & Other Stories in the post White navy meets grey trench. This spring, once again, I reached for my favourite coat. I really love the beautiful fabric and the slightly extravagant cut. We all know the classic trench and I do own a good old Burberry, I love it dearly. Still, I had been on the lookout for an unusual trench coat. Well, I found it in Italy.
Kombiniert habe ich dazu eine schöne Seidenbluse mit Spitze am Rücken. Eigentlich wollte ich Euch auch die Rückenansicht der Bluse zeigen, aber leider sind die Fotos dazu nicht sehr gut geworden und deshalb gibt’s nur die Vorderansicht.
I combined it with a lovely silk blouse with lace at the back. I had planned to show you the blouse from behind but the pictures didn’t turn out so well, that’s why you’re only seeing it from the front here.
Zusätzlich trage ich eine verwaschene Jeans von Marina Militare mit ausgefranstem Saum (mit einer Schere habe ich sie erst zu einer Trendjeans gemacht) und einer hellbraunen Ralph Lauren Tasche. Diese war ein absolutes Schnäppchen, auch darüber habe ich schon in dem älteren Post Zara jacket and Ralph Lauren bag berichtet.
I’m also wearing a washed out pair of jeans by Marina Militare with fringed edges (I had to do this myself with a pair of scissors) and a light brown Ralph Lauren bag. This one was an absolute bargain, I already told you about this in the post Zara jacket and Ralph Lauren bag.
Nur mit den Schuhen habe ich mir dann doch etwas schwer getan, einmal Sonne und dann wieder leichter Regen, nicht so einfach. Ich habe mich dann für die sommerliche Variante entschieden und Slingpumps getragen, warm war mir damit aber nicht.
Only the shoes posed a bit of a problem, a little bit of sun, then a light drizzle, not so easy. In the end I went for the summerly route with these slingpumps, my feet were not really warm with them though.
Die Sonnenbrille war bei dem Wetter nicht wirklich notwendig, aber ich trage sie einfach sehr gerne!
A pair of sunglasses was not necessary in this weather, I still enjoy wearing them though!
