Vor ein paar Tagen waren wir für ein Wochenende in Mailand. Da wir die italienische Stadt schon recht gut kennen, können wir unsere Tage sehr relaxed verbringen, ohne von einer Sehenswürdigkeit zur anderen zu hasten. Ich kann Euch sagen, herrlich ist das.
A few days ago we spent a weekend in Milan. Since we already know the Italian city pretty well, we didn’t want to head from one sight to the next, no, we wanted to spend our time there very relaxed. Let me tell you, that’s a great way to do it.
Wir suchen uns natürlich immer Stadtteile aus, die wir noch nicht gut kennen, schlendern stundenlang herum und erkunden die Umgebung. Auf diese Art und Weise haben wir schon viel Interessantes entdeckt. Gerade in den Randbezirken, fernab von jeglichem Tourismus, findet man kleine süße Lokale und Läden.
Of course we like to head to parts of the city that we don’t know too well yet, once we’re there, we just stroll around for hours. Doing so, we’ve discovered many cool things in the past. Especially away from the city center, far from all the tourists you’ll find great little cafés and stores.
Auch in diesem Jahr haben wir uns eine „besondere“ Location ausgesucht, wir haben einen Schuhmarkt besucht. Ich habe vorweg schon Einiges darüber gelesen und war natürlich sehr neugierig, aber auch etwas skeptisch, als ich las, dass es auch Designer Schuhe zu kaufen gibt. Unsere Erwartungen wurden dann doch noch übertroffen.
This year, we headed for a „special“ location as well, a shoe market. I have read a lot about it prior to our trip and was really looking forward to it, as well as a little anxious when I read that they also sell designer shoes. We were blown away in the end though.
In einer kleinen Gasse etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, reiht sich ein Stand an den anderen. Schuhe über Schuhe und dazwischen Käse, Salami, Prosciutto, Obst und Gemüse. So viele Schuhe auf einmal habe ich noch nie gesehen. Wunderschöne Modelle von italienischen Designern, aber auch bekannte Labels wie Tod’s kann man hier kaufen. Die Schuhe sind alle Originale, meistens sind es Modelle aus dem Vorjahr. Ich habe mich für zwei Paar Schuhe entschieden, ein Paar davon will ich Euch heute zeigen.
In a little alley a little outside of the city center you’ll find many stands next to one another. Shoes and more shoes, in bewteen cheese, salami, prosciutto, fruit and vegetables. I have never ever seen so many shoes in one place. Beautiful pieces from Italian designers, as well as lesser known labels like Tod’s are for sale here. All the shoes are originals, most of the time models from last year. I bought two pairs, one of which I’d like to show you today.
Kombiniert habe ich meine blauen Lederschuhe mit einem dunkelblauen Kaschmirpullover von Loro Piana, den ich mir in Mailand gekauft habe. Ich habe mich für ein Modell mit einem interessanten Halsausschnitt entschieden. Der Pullover ist 100% Kaschmir, Made in Italy und wunderbar flauschig, es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick.
I combined my blue leather shoes with a dark blue cashmere sweater by Loro Piana, which I bought in Milan. I went for a model with an interesting neck cutout. The sweater is made from 100% cashmere, made in Italy and really cuddly, it was love at first sight.
Die nette Dame hat mir unzählige Modelle gezeigt und ich hatte die Qual der Wahl, schlussendlich habe ich mich dann für dieses Modell entschieden. Kombiniert habe ich den Pullover zu einer klassischen weißen Jeans und einer blauen Tasche mit goldener Hardware, ebenfalls aus Mailand.
The lovely lady showed me many many models, making it more and more difficult for me to chose, but in the end I went for this one. I combined the sweater with a classic white pair of jeans and a blue bag with golden hardware, bought in Milan as well.
Gleich in der Nähe unseres Hotels entdeckten wir einen kleinen Platz, umgeben von typisch italienischen Häusern und Palmen. Mir gefiel die Location so gut, dass wir beschlossen gleich hier ein paar Fotos zu machen. Ich hoffe, sie gefallen Euch!
Not far from our hotel we discovered a little square, surrounded by typical Italian houses and palm trees. I liked the location so much that we decided to take a few pictures here. I hope you like them!
