In wenigen Wochen fliege ich mit meinem Mann nach New York City. Ich war schon einige Male im Big Apple und deshalb freut es mich umso mehr, wieder in eine meiner liebsten Städte zu reisen.

In a few weeks I’ll fly to New York City with my husband. I’ve been to the Big Apple a few times in the past so I’m really looking forward to going back to a city I really love.

Ich werde mich dieses mal einfach treiben lassen, nicht von einer Sehenswürdigkeit zur anderen hetzen, sondern nur genießen. Natürlich werden wir uns einiges ansehen, es gibt ja vieles zu entdecken und erkunden, aber alles gemütlich und ohne Stress.

This time I’ll try to just go with the flow instead of heading from one sight to the next, enjoy it as much as possible. Of course we’ll check out a lot, there is a lot to be seen indeed, but all in a relaxed way.

Mein lieber Mister hat schon eine respektable Liste an Lokalen, die er unbedingt ausprobieren will, vor allem Burger-Restaurants. Nun ja, da habe ich auch noch ein Wörtchen mit zu reden. Aber warum nicht? Wir sind ja in New York und da gehören Burger & Co einfach dazu!

My beloved Mister has already put together a list of places he wants to check out, predominantly burger-restaurants. Well, I’ll have a say on that too I think. Anyway, why not? We’re in New York, Burgers & Co. are just part of the experience.

Natürlich bleibt das Shoppen auch nicht auf der Strecke. Sehr gerne fahren wir in das Jersey Gardens Outlet, es ist zwar nicht so groß wie das berühmte Woodbury aber ein Großteil meiner liebsten Marken finde ich hier.

Of course there will be some shopping as well. We like to head to the Jersey Gardens outlet, it’s not quite as big as the famous Woodbury, but I can find a lot of my favourite brands here.

Wir reisen immer wieder gerne in das moderne und stylische Hotel Yotel New York. Es befindet sich direkt am Times Square West, in der 570 Tenth Avenue. Wir lieben es aufgrund seiner guten Lage und Anbindung an die Subway. Die Zimmer sind zwar sehr klein, aber super modern. Alles aus Glas, sogar das Badezimmer und der Ausblick im 25. Stock ist einfach gigantisch. Auf jeder Etage gibt es eine kleine Küche mit einem Kaffeautomaten. Der Kaffee schmeckt sehr gut und auch ein kleiner Kühlschrank mit Getränken ist vorhanden. Der Kaffee ist übrigens gratis!

We like to stay at the modern and stylish hotel called Yotel New York. It’s located just west of Times Square at the corner of 41st & 10th. We love it because of the great location and being close to the subway. The rooms are quite small but really modern. Everythings made out of glass, even the bathroom and the view from the 25th floor is absolutely amazing. Every floor offers a little kitchen with a coffee machine. The coffee is great and they also have vending machines on each floor. By the way, the coffee is free!

Morgens gibt es frische Muffins und Kaffee bis zum Abwinken, ebenfalls im Preis inbegriffen. Ein besonderers Highlight ist die große Terrasse, hier kann man im Sommer mit einem wunderbaren Cocktail den Tag ausklingen lassen. Es gibt auch ein asiatisches Restaurant und eine Cocktailbar. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, es beginnt schon beim Einchecken, hier fühlt man sich sofort richtig wohl! Das Yotel New York wurde 2014 und 2015 mit dem HolidayCheck Award prämiert.

In the morning you get fresh muffins and coffee for days, also included in the price. A special highlight is the padio, on which you can enjoy a nice cocktail in the evening. There is also an Asian restaurant and a cocktail bar. The staff is really friendly and very helpful, makes you feel right at home! The Yotel New York received an award in 2014 and 2015 from HolidayCheck.

In ein paar Wochen geht es endlich los, ich kann es schon gar nicht mehr erwarten. Natürlich werde ich Euch via Instagram & Co immer auf dem Laufenden halten.
