Wie Ihr vielleicht wisst, war ich vor ein paar Wochen mit lieben Freunden auf einer wunderschönen Kreuzfahrt mit Schwerpunkt New Orleans zum Mardi Gras. Darüber gibt es natürlich einen gesonderten Bericht.
Eigentlich wollte ich in unserem Urlaub entspannen und auch für den Blog nichts tun, habe mich aber dann doch zu einem Shooting entschlossen. Wir mussten schon zeitig in der Früh aufstehen, was uns aber dank Jetlag nicht wirklich schwer fiel. Gerade morgens ist es auf dem Schiff noch sehr ruhig und man sieht nur wenige Menschen.
As you may remember I went on a wonderful cruise to New Orleans and Mardi Gras with some lovely friends a few weeks ago. There will be a more in depth post on that.
I had planed to relax in my vacation and to not do anything for the blog, in the end however we ended up doing a shoot. We had to get up early in the morning, which was not too difficult, thanks to the jetlag. Around sunrise it’s still pretty quiet on deck and there are not too many people around.
Ich habe mir noch kurz vor dem Urlaub ein Kleid gekauft. Ihr wisst ja, Kleider trage ich nur sehr selten, dieses hat mir aber sehr gut gefallen und so durfte es mit auf unsere Reise.
Es hat richtig Spaß gemacht, gerade auf diesem Schiff gibt es so viele Möglichkeiten hübsche Fotos zu machen.
I bought a lovely dress just before going on this trip. You know that I don’t really wear dresses all that often but I really liked this one and so it had to come with me on this journey.
It was a lot of fun to shoot, this ship offers some great locations for great photos.
Was ich aber leider nicht bedacht habe, ist, dass ich auf dem Fuß einen schrecklichen Sonnenbrand hatte und auf fast jedem unserer Bilder sieht man ihn auch sehr gut.
Ich habe lange überlegt, ob ich Euch die Fotos überhaupt zeigen sollte, aber was soll’s, so ist das wahre Leben, warum immer alles beschönigen?
