Anfang Juni waren wir zum exklusiven Longing for the Summer Event im DC Tower geladen. Es war einfach alles perfekt. Nach meinem letzten Arbeitstag vor dem Urlaub und knapp vor meiner Reise nach Island freuten wir uns auf diesen besonderen Anlass.

At the beginning of June we were invited to an exclusive Longing for the Summer event at the DC Tower. Everything was perfect. After my last day at work, just before we went on holiday to Iceland we were looking forward to this special occasion.

Es herrschte wunderbare Sommerstimmung und wir fühlten uns bereits wie im Urlaub. Dafür wählte ich ein bodenlanges und luftiges Sommerkleid in Grün mit Spitzenbesatz am Rücken. Vor sehr langer Zeit (vor knapp drei Jahren, um genau zu sein!) habe ich es Euch bereits gezeigt, aber da die Location im und um das Hotel Meliá so wunderbar war, mussten wir einfach ein paar Bilder machen.

There was a lovely summer feeling going on and we felt like being on holiday. I chose a full-length and airy dress in green with a little bit of lace at the back. A long time ago (about three years, to be exact!) I showed you this dress, but since the location around Hotel Meliá was so beautiful, we decided to take a few pictures.

Mit offenen Sandalen, der Hippie-Tasche und meinem Haarband wird der Look noch sommerlicher.

With open sandals, the hippie bag and a hair-band the look got even more summery.

Wir verbrachten einen ganz tollen Abend im Flow Restaurant & Bar und wurden ganz ausgezeichnet mit Drinks und gutem Essen versorgt. Nach diesem wunderschönen Sommerabend machte ich mich auf in kühlere Gefilde und es ging auf nach Island. Dazu natürlich auch bald mehr.

We spent a lovely evening at Flow Restaurant & Bar and were taken care of with drinks and great food. After such a lovely summer evening I headded off to a cooler realm, straight to Iceland. More on that later.
