Ich liebe Musik. Ich liebe Reisen. Da liegt es für mich auf der Hand, bei den meisten meiner Reiseziele auch dem dortigen Hard Rock Café einen Besuch abzustatten. Umso größer war die Freude, als ich entdeckte, dass es auch auf der Insel St. Maarten eine Filiale gibt. Zugegeben, die Preise sind absolut überteuert, dennoch bin ich dem Geschäftsmodell verfallen und so musste auch von dort ein Pullover mit nach Hause kommen.
I love music. I love to travel. That makes it kind of obvious for me to visit the Hard Rock Café wherever I go. I got really excited when I found out that there’s a store on the island of St. Maarten. Ok, I admit that their pricing is a little bit over the top, nonetheless I love their business model and so I had to bring a sweater back home.
Die Bilder, die bei diesem Shooting entstanden sind, mag ich total gerne. Das Ganze war sehr spontan und ich finde sie sind gut gelungen. Einen kleinen Wermutstropfen gibt es allerdings. Es mag vielleicht nicht sofort ins Auge stechen, aber meine Jeans hat an einer etwas ungewöhnlichen Stelle ein Loch. Ich habe sie mir in Florida bei Levi’s gekauft und habe eine riesen Freude damit.
I love the pictures we made during this shoot. The whole thing just kind of happened and I think they turned out great. There is one tiny little problem though. You might not notice it right away, but my jeans have a slightly unusual hole. I bought them in Florida at Levi’s and I’m really happy with them.
Als ich wieder zu Hause war, führte ich sie zum ersten Mal voller Stolz aus und wie sollte es auch anders sein, rutschte ich aus und flog in hohem Bogen auf mein Knie. Ja es hat wehgetan, ja ich hatte eine Wunde und humpelte durch die Gegend, allerdings war das Schlimmste an dem ganzen Malheur: Meine wunderschöne neue Jeans hat ein Loch! Ich habe so viele zerrissene Jeans und war voller Freude, dass ich auch nun auch ein heiles Exemplar hatte, aber diese Freude währte nicht lange…
When we got back home I went to wear them for the first time and sure enough I slipped and my knee hit the ground hard. Yes, it hurt, yes I had quite the wound and I was limping about for a week but the worst thing was that my brand new pair of jeans had a hole! I’ve got so many pairs of torn jeans, now I finally had one that was completely intact, not for long though…
Nun ja, da kann man halt nichts machen… Ich werde das Loch wohl irgendwie orginell flicken und Euch dazu auf dem Laufenden halten. Kann ja sein, dass hier noch weitere Tollpatsche unter unseren Lesern sind 😉
Well, nothing I can do about it… I’m going to have to stich them back together in some fancy way and then tell you how I did it. Who knows, you might need to repair a pair at some point as well 😉
