Sustainable Fashion Pieces

As you may have noticed, sustainablity gets more and more attention on our blog. And so, as promised, we’d like to not only talk about this subject on a general basis, but we’d also like to show you a few products that might be interesting for you. We made a lot of new discoveries at the annual fair for “green lifestyle” in Linz – the WearFair.

I bought this beautiful leather wallet by Harold’s at “sonis laden” which is based in Wels and offers a large selection of sustainably produced goods. Most products of Harold’s are made in a small factory in South Africa. The jobs there are regulated by the law and offer health insurance. The raw materials they use are also sourced from the region. Eco-balance is very important to them from the first steps of production right until the finished product is shipped to Europe. The wallet is really high quality and I love using it.

The very colorful circle scarf, used as a background here, was a souvenir brought back by my parents from Canada and is made by NartiveNorthwest. It is fashioned from 100% bamboo and feels really nice when you wear it.

The print-shirt is a “lieblingsleiberl” (which means favorite shirt) as you can see.  Everybody can design these prints which are then funded via crowd funding. The textiles they use are all eco-friendly and marked with all kinds of certificates. And they do not cost more than a “normal” shirt 😉

So you can see, by now there are tons of alternatives for conventional clothing and accessories which are absolutely affordable.

    Guten Morgen
    Tanja
