Vergangene Woche folgten wir einer ganz besonderen Einladung. Wir durften an einem Foto-Workshop im Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom, welches zur AccorHotel-Gruppe gehört, teilnehmen.
Inspiriert von der gotischen Pracht des Stephansdoms, schuf der französische Architekt Jean Nouve ein kunstvoll gestaltetes 5-Sterne Superior Hotel in Wien.
Last week we followed one special invitation. We were invited to a photography workshop at Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom, part of the AccorHotel-Group.
Inspired by the Gothic architecture of St. Stephen’s Church, French architect Jean Nouve created this stylish five star superior hotel in Vienna.

Im Foto-Workshop lernten wir die Fotografin Michèle Pauty kennen, die uns wertvolle Tipps rund um Fotografie für Blogger gab.
During the workshop we met photographer Michèle Pauty who gave us a few more very important tips about photography.
Eine Vielzahl an tollen Kameras von Canon warteten darauf, getestet zu werden.
Wir durften mit Michèle zwei Suiten des Sofitels besuchen und unzählige Fotos machen, dabei lernten wir richtige Kameraeinstellungen und sie gab uns sehr gute Tipps zu dem Umgang mit dem Fotoapparat.

Michèle took us to two different suites of the hotel where we were allowed to take plenty of pictures. She showed us how to set up the camera and gave us quite a few useful pointers.

Im preisgekrönten DAS LOFT Restaurant und Bar bekommt man einen Ausblick auf Wiens Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Schweizer Videokünstlerin Pipilotti Rist gestaltete das farbenfrohe Deckengemälde im 18. Stock des Sofitels. Die dominierenden Farben der Decke Blau, Grün und Orange sind von der ganzen Innenstadt aus zu sehen.
In the award-winning restaurant DAS LOFT you can catch a glimpse of Vienna’s sights. Swiss video artist Pipilotti Rist designed the very colorful ceiling at the 18th floor of the Sofitel. The powerful colors, blue, green and orange are visible from almost anywhere in the central part of Vienna.
Hier finden auch regelmäßig Events statt, wie vor Kurzem Pierre Sarkozy, der aka Dj Mosey French House Beats auflegen durfte. Wir konnten diesem überaus tollen Event beiwohnen und waren sehr begeistert. Dieses Veranstaltung soll der Auftakt einer ganzen Eventreihe sein – for friends only!

They also host all sorts of events, like for instance Pierre Sarkozy, aka Dj Mosey was putting on French House Music not long ago. We were part of this interesting event and were very excited. In fact it was the first event of many like this – for friends only!
