Paris. Montmartre. Ich hatte tatsächlich eine Affäre in der Stadt der Liebe.

Viele von Euch werden sich jetzt fragen, was denn mit mir los ist. Keine Angst, ich liebe meinen Mister wie am ersten Tag. Nein, nein, ich hatte eine heftige Romanze mit meinen neuen Stiefletten von & Other Stories. Es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick! Schon seit geraumer Zeit halte ich Ausschau nach einer schwarzen, zeitlosen Lederstieflette. In Wien klapperte ich sämtliche Schuhgeschäfte ab und auch online versuchte ich mein Glück, aber leider ohne Ergebnis.
Many of you might ask now, „What’s wrong with you?“ Don’t worry, I still love my Mister as much as I did back when we met. No, no, I had an intense romance with my new boots by & Other Stories. It was love at first sight! I’ve been on the lookout for black, timeless boots for a while. I went through every single Viennese shoe shop, I even looked online, without any luck.
Nun war es endlich soweit, wir waren wieder in Paris und genossen das französische Lebensgefühl in vollen Zügen. Da kam natürlich das Shoppen auch nicht zu kurz, es steht ja schließlich Weihnachten vor der Tür.
It was finally time for us again to come to Paris and enjoy the French lifestyle to the fullest. Of course, we did some shopping as well, since Christmas is just around the corner.
Im Einkaufstempel Printemps entdeckte ich eine Filiale von & Other Stories. Ich musste nicht lange suchen, da standen sie, meine schwarzen Lederstiefletten. Ich hatte großes Glück, es gab nur mehr ein einziges Paar in meiner Größe. Schwupp di Wupp und sie waren mein.
At the shopping temple Printemps I discovered an & Other Stories store. I didn’t have to look around for long and there they were, my black boots. I was really lucky too, they only had one pair of my size left. There was no hesitation on that one, they were mine.
Ergänzt habe ich mein Outfit mit einem schwarzen Wollblazer von Zara. Lange habe ich nach dem guten Stück Ausschau gehalten, es war fast unmöglich eine passende Jacke genau nach meinen Vorstellungen zu finden. Mit ein wenig Durchhaltevermögen habe ich dann doch noch kurz vor unserem Flug nach Paris eine schöne Wolljacke gefunden.
I combined the outfit with a black woll-blazer by Zara. I had been looking for something like this for a long time, it was almost impossible to find the right jacket that was exactly what I was looking for. With a little bit of staying power though I found this lovely piece not long before we headed for Paris.
Die goldenen Knöpfe auf dem sonst eher schlichten Blazer peppen das gute Stück ein bisschen auf.
The golden buttons on the otherwise discreet blazer make it a little more flashy.
Eine schlichte Jeans von Promod kombiniert mit einem Streifenshirt und fertig war mein Outfit für einen wunderbaren Tag in Paris.
A simple pair of jeans by Promod, combined with a striped shirt and my outfit for a lovely day in Paris was complete.
Wie Ihr sehen könnt, hat sich das Schuh-Techtelmechtel doch ausgezahlt!
As you can see, the shoe-love affair did pay off in the end!
